Concerned Kids - Puppet Show

Violence, Gangs, and Prejudice - puppetry with a positive perspective

Independent - Projek Raw Dance Team

Dance duo providing comedic relief intertwined with various other performing arts techniques

P.E.A.C.E - Mind, Body and Soul

Trio performs positive hip hop music

Soulpepper Theatre - Youth Program

Theatrical performance with a mix of African Drumming and Bhangra dance

4Unity Productions – Low Pros, Showcase Stage, DJ’s

Rap trio, rotating DJ's, open mic competition

Smart Sckool Kid Zone A high profile eclectic avant-garde hybrid art, technology and enterprise sckool Featuring: Face Painting, Sidewalk Chalk, Interactive Art Zone, Balloons Presented In Conjunction With Mazaryk-Cowan Community Centre

University of Toronto's CIUT-FM will be doing a Live-To-Air broadcast for the full duration of the Festival. Tune into 89.5 FM or 128.100.197.46:8002 on the internet if you are unable to attend, and hear all the performances and interviews with band members.

CultureLink Settlement Services-Newcomer Youth Centre - a space to get connected with services, resources and friends - youth workers available for newcomer youth between the ages of 14-24

Gay and Lesbian Youth Line - Ontario-wide peer-support phone line for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, 2-spirited, queer and questioning young people.

Neighbourhood Centre - HEYY - youth line run by youth for youth offering support and referrals

Arrabon House - residence for young women providing life skills services to empower them with dignity, strength, and compassion - 416 537 7037

Concerned Kids - non-profit organization that uses interactive puppetry to educate kids and youth about social issues like Substance Abuse and Violence and Gangs

Kids Mental Health - specialize in working with children and youth and offer professional mental health services at no charge.

Youth Employment Toronto - assisting youth with employment opportunities

Toronto Public Health - health services and counselling for youth

Parkdale Festival 2007
Third Annual Toronto Parkdale (Raising Youth Awareness) Festival 2007 Saturday August 25th., 2007 from 12:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Masaryk-Cowan Park, Queen and Cowan. The goal of the day-long music and art festival is to generate interest in youth service organizations by providing a community-based event, "We really want to make this a fun interactive day for everyone, with the main focus on bringing awareness to what's available in the area for youth, along with providing a full day of great entertainment," said Bryen Dunn, festival innovator.
